New Verde Valley Ostomy Support Group
The first meeting for the Verde Valley Ostomy Support Group will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 from 4:00pm-6:00pm. The meeting will be held the first Wednesday of every month at Verde Valley Medical Center-Conference Room B, 269 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood, AZ 86326. National Ostomy Support Organization
The United
Ostomy Associations of America is a national support organization for bowel and urinary
diversion support groups in the U.S. that has been created to fill the void left by the
dissolution of UOA. It is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit
organization incorporated in New Jersey. The UOAA will serve to unify and strengthen ostomy support groups in America.
The UOAA
is dedicated to the provision of information, advocacy and service to, and for,
its affiliated support groups, their members and the intestinal/urinary
diversion community at large. It is organized to grow and develope
while remaining independent and financially viable.
